2old2play.com — This article looks at the current view that game reviews are swayed by the advertising money that pays them, but offers hope from the free press, bloggers, and start up sites. So where do you go for honest game reviews?

I think the article was a good read and highlights a problem that's been going on for years with the honesty of game news/review sites and their cookie cutter reviews. I know that in order to keep that advertising and that "Members Only content" dollar coming in they have to hype and sugar coat everything they present to the public or else it's "going out of business sale". That's why I don't trust them with their reviews and instead resort to brutally honest self made review sites and user reviews to give me an idea of how games that raise my attention are about without me having to take the $50 pill or the earth shattering $60 blow to the pancreas.

@hagnarWhy cant people link to the article on digg? If come from digg to check it out then they can link back to digg and decided to digg it or not. Most blogs do this too. Whats the problem here?As for me, I would like to add even more to her article for other site to go to with non-bias reviews. She may only know one other, but Im sure there are a ton more out there.

Sadly you could've done what some movie critics have done as of late. Give a positive score to the movie they reviewed and rip it to shreds as the intended to.I've noticed certain critics have this tendency in some vain attempt to hoodwink their sponsors but ultimately if you aren't a long time reader of the critic you would end up being confused by their score compared to what they actually wrote down.
