engadget.com— Hey Mr. Jobs, if you're listening... Trent may not be Bob Dylan, but he is the voice of the digital music generation.

Trent is basically saying what we all know... All smartphone platforms suck balls for different reasons.Android is buggy and the phone hardware looks like ass... but the software is promising.Apple are a collective bunch of narrowminded Nazis with the iPhoneBlackberry is all but deadWinMo's UI sucks balls, but honestly, with the face-lift that WinMo is getting in version 7, it'll blow the iPhone awayPalm's WebOS has yet to be seen, but it looks pretty slick. As of right now, WinMo is the only smartphone platform that lets you do what you want, install what you want, and view the full web with flash (Opera mobile 9.5 + flash lite 3.1 and/or Skyfire).... so SUCK IT, TREBEK!
Um, Blackberry is NOT dead. They hold three of the top 5 smart phone sales in the last quarter including beating the iPhone from the number one spot...
@everybody You'd be surprised how many 4-17 year old kids have iPhones and iPod Touches. I guesstimate that out of the 13 million sold, at least 3 million iPhones have been sold to people under 17, possibly more. Apple's coming out with parental controls for the iPhone and the App Store, allowing more flexibility in the app approval process, so in about 3 months THIS WHOLE STORY WILL BE INVALID AND MEANINGLESS. Plus, Apple even said that 98% of all of their apps have been approved. Pick your battles people, this isn't a good fight against Apple.
"App store has no effect on the "stability" of the phone... you can still use the app store on a jailbroken phone.."However Jailbreak has effect on stability.
"sucks when the disc gets scratched... dozens of home movies gone in seconds."Yeah, unlike the 500 movies you'll lose when your HDD dies, and boy do they die.
Hilariously, if you read the article, the direct quote from the subject of the article says he loves Apple's iPhone and it is 1000x better than the competition.
The title is somewhat 100% contradictory to what the man in it thinks/feels/believes.
