scifi.com — Shia LaBeouf, who stars in Michael Bay's upcoming Transformers movie, told SCI FI Wire that executive producer Steven Spielberg had to appeal a decision by the Motion Picture Association of America to give the film a dreaded R rating. "Spielberg fought back and got the PG-13," LaBeouf said in an interview.

The removal of the line "do a barrel roll" has turned me off this movie forever.

Save for this line: "Step out or we will kill you"I think it will be okay.

Shia LeBeouf is hilarious, he's essentially responsible for the success of the show 'Even Stevens' on the Family Channel. It's a shame it's not in production anymore, though.

Does anyone think there is a chance that this story was 'leaked' to give the film more hype/cred with the bashers who thought is wasn't going to come through? The 'almost' R rating gives it a sense of authenticity and will probably interest people more that is the movie was just rated PG-13 with no controversy.I was planning to see it opening weekend regardless, now I expect a lot more out of it and am more optimistic about it's overall entertainment value.

The aneurysm-inducing was caused by all the Micheal Bay dolly and pan moves. The pans move in the opposite direction of the dollys sending even the most healthy people into epileptic fits and aneurysm-induced comas.

I'm glad Spielberg is working hard to put more violence into the minds of kids. No really, I'm not being sarcastic!
