In order for the cost of the movie to be cut down, ad placements allowed them to get the funding they needed to make a CGI film more realistic. So as long as I see ad placements, my only presumption will be they spent good money on the CGI.
You guys are way off and do not sound like true Transformers fans. That is a bad, but I can disagree with the need to have Megan Fox back, because she added to my enjoyment. But Transformers is not secondary. As far as Shia, all I have to say is Evan Stevens is getting even and making that break. His Oscar is on its way...just wait and see.
You guys make a great point between the two of you. But the ad is needed to give you the special effects. It cost to put ideas to screen like that. As far as the movie sucking it make it more realistic as far as melding the fiction into reality. So I would give it a break and see it for what it is, and that is a new adaptation giving live actors and CGI animators a job and us the pure entertainment, still exposing us to imagination and possibility. May I add that the philosophy behind this film is so thick with ideas and thoughts that if you pealed away all of the film special effects you will get a decent film with decent ideas that will one day transcend into actual thoughts of the human populationDarksoul I could not have said it any better.

Now that we've seen a lot of our favorites in the first movie, I'm hoping to see some new characters in the sequel. Here are ten machines I hope they use as transformers in Transformers 2. http://nateisablog.blogspot.com/2008/06/10-machine ...
