LOL, Toytoa destroys american car companies once again!!! Hope to see GM go down in a ball of fire, especially for using their s**tty post 9/11 marketing schemes!!! Cheers to toyota, hopefully they put up even more US plants so they can be more "american" and put a nail in GM's coffin =)
While its a good concept, it'll only be that, a concept, there are several things wrong. 1. Too heavy. Electric motor and battery on top of an engine? Not to mention that u can't just use an electric motor out of a Prius, u need a bigger one.2. Too expensive. and I quote " National Base Price $26,200" for a hybrid Camry, BASE PRICE!! Much less a car that is made to be "fast" that is also a hybrid.3. How can you syncronize a motor with an engine at higher speeds? Cars slow down when turning. Whats the result of that costant switch of the engine to the motor, to the engine, ect.i'm gonna put my money on it staying a concept.
