torrentfreak.com — Little over a year ago TorrentSpy.com was still the most visited BitTorrent site, but times have changed. After an expensive two year battle with the MPAA, TorrentSpy decided to throw in the towel and the site has now shut down permanently.

Did you read the parent? I wasn't asking if they were in a legal battle, I know they were, I was asking if MAYBE they bloated the site with ads BECAUSE they were in an extended legal battle.

This is good news - people who think it is OK to share copyrighted works without the owners' permission are wrong. Sites that do not enforce this policy are facilitating this wrong. Fung's defense of his work is built on weak foundations, and to me smacks of disingenuity.
