"Don't tase me bro was obvious not a threat."Why obviously? Because he was white and in a college setting? He hadn't been checked for weapons yet, he was being verbally abusive to a public figure, he was not following police officers' instructions, and when they began to restrain him he physically resisted. What more would you ask for? How "obvious" a threat was Mark David Chapman? After the fact we know he was a garden-variety f*ckwit, but at the time he was doing a super impression of someone who was mentally ill.

You know what would be really cool? If there were a pocket-size, easily-concealed version of the new U.S. Army "pain ray" that's currently being field-tested in Iraq. A non-lethal weapon that makes a body feel as if he's covered in burning gasoline, but which causes no actual, physical harm. The pigs would think twice about assaulting unarmed citizens, if any one in a crowd could shoot the cop with a pain gun hidden under his coat, at any time, thus stopping the attack upon an unarmed third party. It's only a matter of time before small non-lethal "pain guns" become available to private individuals, and citizens start doing their patriotic duty; stopping criminals in uniform in the act. There's an OLD s.f. novel, "The Weapon Shops of Isher", about this, very good stuff whose time has come.

Forgiveness is something I'm living this life to learn. I haven't been doing to well at it, particularly in respect to NWO tools like certain police who dirty all good police. I see red with this authoritarian hubris. I see an eye for an eye.
