If all they stole was personal information and SSNs, why go for such a high-profile, "well prepared" target? You'd think they would go for the DMV or something.

Yea its unfortunate that many people jump to its the fault of it department not doing there job.when more often then not its users outside of the IT department who usually don't listen or don't care about everything the it department has warned about.or simply management seeing information security as something that doesnt apply to them.
