Guess he use Wine on majority of these applications he mentioned. Also a very good IDE is Eclipse which doesn't replace Visual Studio but is very good program.
Wow how can you say itunes I'm sorry but that program is s**t, I hated it when I had windows and I hate the few times I use it now, for windows mediamonkey was my favorite or even mindows media player is better than it. For linus amarok is be far the best and honestly it's a program that I wouldn't want to go without the first thing I install on linux boxes.
Well... outlook is history if you ask me, there is a excellent mail client provided by the mozilla foundation (Thunderbird). And... iTunes? no comment, but try amaroK and you wont use another media player, if your after features. Frankly, the only software I'm still missing very much from windowsland is floats mobile agent or MyPhoneExplorer... not being able to synch my mobilephone plain sucks.

What a tool. I'M ACTUALLY LIVING WITHOUT those 10 apps he mentioned. Very weak list.
