The top ten reasons are lame. I'd like to see the other reasons that didn't make the list. # 11. It's white. # 12. It has rounded edges. I dig my iPod. I'm sure there are other good MP3 players out there, but the iPod suits me just fine. Btw, show me a headphone jack that is a true line out.
Self serving blogs do suck big time. If you hate the iPod so much, then why not take it back when you first got it. Complaints are a dime a dozen around here. Why not design a better one and market it and have your sales exceed those of the iPod if you are so smart. Until then or until you can come up with a player that is truly better, I would not complain so much and move on. Are you selling your crappy iPod on ebay?
I think the ipod is something that stupid people and mac fanatics buy.There are many alternatives with more storage AND a lower price.The ipod is a product of media hype.And if you try to tell me about design, I will tell that all mp3 players do the samething.Now, the mini is just a waste of money when something like a creative can hold five to eight times as much and cost the same amountThere are many alternatives to the regular ipod at different price points.To ipod photo owners and the stupid people who try to make it play video: just go buy a nice PVP which can do everything and more.Personally, I am very happy with Archos. I used to own an Archos Jukebox Multimedia 20 and now I love my Av420 (which, FYI, cost me $450).Oh, and to all think of buying an ipod because of itunes drm: just download jhymnThe media and popular culture needs to leave the ipod, which is more of a fashion statement than a technological masterpiece.
I love my year-and-a-half old 20 gig iPod. I had no problems using it with Windows 2000, but then I've had no problems with it at all. Granted, it was a luxury purchase -- a Christmas gift to myself -- but it also is a best of breed. I've ripped my entire CD collection -- and yes, I do still buy CDs -- and hardly listen to the suck local radio stations anymore. And I love iTunes, too. If the blog poster doesn't like his iPod, I'm sure there are other players that match his needs better. So he ought to stop complaining, give his iPod to someone who'll appreciate it, and move on.
im tired of all your bulls**t about 'apple sucks'tell me thiswho had the first GUI? who keeps innovation in the computer market with new technologies?it sure as hell is not mircosoft they just slap on a new interface make a few bug fixs and securtiy hole patches and market it as new and improved....oh and what processor is rumored to be used in the Xbox 360? The PPC G5 apples G5 processor so Software2 what say you?
