A grad student from Duke visited our PolSci class at Utah State. We discussed a research project she was undertaking; I forget every nuance of the project, but she wants to see how opinion leaders on Facebook affect their friends' political behavior.

its closed as far as facebook is concerned but im not sure how many people use face book as an extension of themselves
