jwpincorporated.com— Some dude tried to buy a top digger's account and got his IM conversation (and screen name) posted on a blog instead.

I'm not even spamming digg, WTF is all this about? I could see if I was spamming the s**t out of digg or something, but what exactly seems to be the issue here? Seriously? Because of my digg rank? Is that what it's all about?
Dude, I'm not obsessing. You deserve to be in the Top 60 for the efforts you made (even if it's a team effort) because you're giving the community the content they want. But the all the "blog this" stuff just raised a red flag to me because it's a cheap SEO trick. It just got me curious as to how someone can submit so many stories (probably outpacing even the top 5), blog about all of them, and still manage to keep their sanity.I just wanted to raise awareness that's all. I had my final say on it so now I'm cool. I've never once written to Digg and accused you of abuse (if I had something against you that's what I'd do). I just shared my observations in the open. You can interpret that however you want but I have nothing more to say on this. I'm sorry if it caused you problems. If there is nothing wrong then we'll all move on and I'll have made a fool of myself. So be it.
I wasn't saying you were SEO. I was saying that what might be riling up the SEO paranoia is the pace that you submit stories. I get the same thing because I submit material for my own site. SEO might be a result, but I do it because I know some Digg users enjoy the band's I talk about. I could easily see myself being accused of the same things if I ever had a story 'made popular'. My failure is my only defense. :D

Other than Digg, there are tons of ways out there to get quality traffic and backlinks with $5000-$40000.
