Wow.. I'm getting old... when *I* was in HS, we took apart a HD and couldn't get the platters into our car.. they were a couple of feet in diameter and about 1/4-1/2" thick, and weighed a ton. (It was '94 and the drive was something off of a DEC PDP)

if you really want to get technical, a megabyte is not a million kilobytes (or should i say, a comma doesn't = a decimal ass) no digg, what gould of a project is it if i can't get instructions or tutorials (for the clock, i didn't check others) & you expect me to digg a list of 5 previously front-page stories. that's something you post on slashdot.

The instructions for the hard drive clock were linked from the article, to build one go here:http://www.alan-parekh.com/hard_drive_clock.htmlThe Hard Drive Scope was not shown anywhere before today, so you would not have seen this one (not sure if there is another that I could not find when I looked)
