Hardware Upgrades: The post was about Linux and not Ubuntu.Workspaces in Vista is obviously influenced by Linux/Unix virtual desktops.I agree about Pidgin. It should say that an OSS application gives you this feature, also available in Windows.

"No More Hardware Upgrade"-----Sorry, but you can't run Ubuntu 8.10 on a Pentium II box with 64MB of RAM. You still need to upgrade hardware!Um... Ok, so I'll upgrade to a dual-core, 4gb of ram so I can use vista.
