I would much rather have seen HL2 ep: 3 than L4D2, and I was really disappointed to see where Valve's focus was. What is their focus now? Hopefully on episode 3 but who knows. Episode 1 came out in June 2006, so it's been 3 and a half years in which they've only released one more episodic game. That's the development time of a big budget game with a new engine for most developers. That's pretty sad.
What's wrong with replaying games? And I kind of like being able to play old games without having to run more wires and find space for another console. There's nothing wrong with lamenting the loss of a great feature.

Wii price cut...PSP revamp...Half-Life: Episode 2 not coming out...companies shutting their doors...Yeah, many of these were not surprising at all.

I need more Half Life! Along with no Episode 3, you could add no Black Mesa either.
