How to develop a bad online reputation: Leave comments with random and nonsensical punctuation and capitalization. Emphatically state unpopular opinions regarding universally criticized public figures for bonus points.

I have used Radian6 for several clients--not for SEO as stated above. Way more useful than free tools like Google Alerts...I definitely recommend them...
