Yeah, I was considering adding digg's redesign. It has a nice simple looks and I like the logo. In the end, I decided I was going to focus on personal/small sites and only included a couple larger sites and digg didn't make the cut :(
All these sites just went to the exact same trendy design with different colors and pictures. That's it.Whoo for trends./buys an iPod, combs shaggy hair to the side, takes laptop to Starbucks and plays Fallout Boy on iTunes while updating his Myspace.com account so his crap garage band's music plays on entrance
This list is totally bulls**t. I'd have to say that Slashdot should get some credit for actually fixing their ancient layout to be valid (and semantic) HTML 4.01 Strict.I saw the word "Flash" for one of the top ten as well. Flash is NEVER a good idea for design. Flash is for things like games or presentations, NOT websites. HTML exists for a f**king reason; use it if you want people to be able to read and use your website.
Self submit? And what criteria did he use to rate these designs other than "I like visiting this site" and "It looks pretty coolness". Is he judging by artistic content (and there are many sub-devisions of this, such as originality etc), usability, efficience? Is he looking at improvement or just the final result? These are meaningless ratings by someone who is not qualified to make this kind of list, submitted by the same person. Why the heck is this getting diggs?Problem?> Okay this is lame
The 10 Worst ought to include CNet's redesign and repackaging of TVTome as TV.com, which is crap, lags my browser, and is laden with flash ads and other lame-ass graphics.

Where's Digg? IGN? Gamespot? TVtome? There's so many redesigns out there that are pretty well done.
