The scary thing is I remember almost all of these comments. I spend WAY too much time on Digg. I enjoyed most of these comments, but it is a bit sad there aren't more insightful and intelligent posts on the list. I guess anything that requires thought is more likely to be controversial or skipped over. It does provide a good insight into why sound bites and talking points are so effective for politicians though.

Search for comments in digg and you'll find one with over 2100 dugg up, and then withing that comment sthread someone posts one with over 2100 dugg down. crazy.
