I remember google timesaver, all it did is record what you were doing and upload it to google. (I read the TOS when I realised it wasent speeding anything up at all.)Timesaver came out approximately right when the struggle between yahoo and google got serious for dominance.Coincidence? You decide.
Google party was supposed to be a protest against eBay for barring merchants from using Google Checkout. When eBay got wind of Google's plan, it promptly cancelled all of its U.S. ads running on the search engine for more than a week. At the time, eBay was the single largest buyer of search ads on Google
LoL That's tough !
no but each page you have to scroll down to next. You might not really care and just want a quick glance, scrolling quickly through the whole page instead of clicking page after page, waiting for crap you may not care aboutpcworld articles suck so hard for this reason
Not if you are facing backwards and fall off a ledge of the Grand Canyon. A lot more DOWNWARD motion than forward and death at the end....Google steals ideas from the bottom of the Canyon, throws a bunch of money at it (and people) and sees what happens. It would be nice to be able to waste stockholder money on failed projects like that. There is a reason Google is NEVER a First Mover and that's why they want everyone else to do it for them. Google is creepy and evil, sorry.
Google is like the band Garbage. They steal ideas, pump resources into them and see what sticks. They don't pay the R&D costs to come up with the idea when all they need to do is look at their traffic reports for new ideas. Evil and creepy, the whole lot of them.

and you dont know better until you fail, and then learn from that failure.Making a mistake once is acceptable.Making the same mistake twice is not.
