Halo was a terrible game if you look at TRIBES and TRIBES 2 that came out long, long before it did. It was a bad version of Tribes on a console. After being a tribesman for years, I couldn't play Halo. It wasn't good enough. It wasn't textured enough. And most importantly, it lacked a LOT of features that other games had a long time ago. Also, the Ringworld ripoff was sooo bad that Larry Niven should have sued the pants off of them. And the characters sounded like cartoons.
