Am I the only one who finds GMail basic web interface damn near perfect and don't find the need for plugins for it (other than the one to make sure it logs in https every time)?
Because gmail sticks with you when you change ISP. Because Yahoo and Hotmail charge for POP access. Because if you have a slow connection you can keep working while your mail application works in the background.
I think they mean messing with the gmail server or whatnot. Greasemonkey scripts are nothing but client-side hacks that modify the html code of the page to make all kinds of little interface tweaks.And there's no way in hell you'd get in trouble for using an ad blocker.
