uber.com — Nice collection of amusing F-Bombs dropped on live TV, from Sienna Miller, Scarborough, Tom Brady, Bruce Willis, and of course, Richard Simmons. Definitely one of those 'holy f____', I can't believe they did that, moments.

Am I the only one who thought it's weird that NONE of them are eloquent swearers? I mean, I'm from the South, and I've heard long strings of curses so sweet and melodic that you'd think they were prepared ahead of time. But none of these guys can curse to save their asses. It's also so awkward and forced. Except for Bruce Willis, who was just drunk, I imagine.

Reminds me of once, long ago, when I was doing my early Sunday morning radio show. I had just given the station ID at the bottom of the hour and removed my headphones, accidentally catching my long hair in them and painfully ripping out a few strands. I yelled "f**k!!" very loudly right into the microphone, but didn't really think anything of it until I realized there was a deafening silence in the studio. Hmm, I should be hearing the record I was playing, not this all-too-deafening silence. Oh no, the monitors were muted, which could only mean one thing: my microphone was still live. D'oh!! And then the phone immediately began to ring....With much dread and trepidation in my heart I answered the phone, only to find that my friends who had been listening were laughing their asses off at my idiotic mistake. Luckily that's all that ever came of it.

I don't get it, what's the big deal? A grown-up says a bad word that happens to be a popular expression? And we're all snickering as if we were three years old and mommy said Poo. Someone explain please? Haven't you ever heard people curse on TV before?I'm f**king puzzled..

Seriously, that was totally disgusting. What a grade A assh**e. How many women would have bought his exercise videos if they saw him abusing that poor lady.

Yeah here in the UK at least people on TV say "f**k" "s**t" or whatever apart from offensive words and occasionally "****" gets bleeped but not all of the time. I remember watching South Park The Movie in the Netherlands at around 4pm with no bleeps or whatever. Obviously it was subtitled into Dutch and they were not expected to understand it but still pretty cool.

@ebilphish: I'm pretty sure there is a difference on using it as an adjective instead of a verb. Haven't seen the FG episode in question, but I remember some big star several years back slipping it at a live TV show (I want to say it was Bono, but I'm not sure) and the FCC fines were lifted and/or lightened because of the context, since it was "I'm f**king happy" or something instead of "I'm f**king Shirley" or something.Still, I don't know how often it actually makes it onto primetime, especially these days...the children, y'know. Think of the children, who will hear it on the playground by age seven anyway...
