heartlessdoll.com— Yes, it's wedding season. And while marriage is a totally fine concept, it's really the entire bridal industry that has me in a tizzy.

*sigh* I wanted a simple JoP wedding, but his family wanted to pay for us to have a "real" one. I wish I could've had that money to spend on just about anything else of use.
We actually picked out the engagement ring together, a couple months before I proposed (weird eh?)It's a sapphire and cost less than 2 day's salary for me. She said no f**king way was I going into debt to buy a rock and that she'd rather go to Europe, thankyouverymuch.Guess that's why I'm marrying her. :)
We caught a place out RED HANDED the other day.We were booking in an engagement party and were handed the wedding price lists instead. They were literally IDENTICAL to the 'just a party' price lists, but about 30% more. Everything was the same, literally.

People almost always gain weight on vacations. Did she lose it again or was that ten lbs. a real deal-breaker for you?

He proposed during sex? That's...unique. Better than breaking up with you during sex, I guess!

I wonder how many divorces, foreclosures, and bankruptcies started off with overspending on some ridiculous wedding.
