Hollywood has gradually abandoned it's puritanical Hayes Code restrictions, films have never been bloodier, and we've spent the last fifteen years enjoying some of the lowest crime rates ever?
Maybe the poster should have changed the title to include that it was only on-screen deaths? That's where the confusion and complaints are coming from... if you claim top 101 movies with highest body county, people read it just like that... movies with highest body count, not on-screen bodies.

The new Star Trek would be up there with A New Hope, too. But if you read the FAQs on the site, they only count deaths/ bodies shown onscreen.
