Did anyone else notice that on the card for Optimus it say skill 9 for as all as i can remember Prime has always had almost all 10's except speed at a 7 i can deal with but he should have the rest 10's hes Optimus Prime i would follow him into during even against earths greatest warriors because he has all 10's
Yes, the pics that vdog linked to look MUCH better than the designs used in the movie. What the hell are these people (the filmmakers) smoking, aside from sausage. Most definitely count me out, and I'll try to convince my friends not to go either, despite the fact that at least one of them is already doomed to see it.
These designs are waaay to Mobile Suit Gundam Garbage for me. The robots' bodies look like piles of frigging junk; they lack the sort of Asimovian je ne sais quoi that accompanied the eighties-era cartoon. The faces look positively alien and unappealing. Bumblebee's face never really looked that alien in the eighties.Color me disappointed. I will still see it, of course, but the design "updates" are a real letdown. You know its bad when you'd rather see then as vehicles than robots :(Who knows, maybe other aspects of the movie will be appealing. Maybe they will not seem as "junklike" when they are moving around, but it doesn't look good right now.
VW wouldn't give permission to use any of their vehicles in the movie... research your own story. It's a movie.. that means product placement.. sponsorships.. etc.Obviously GM has a big part in this movie. Maybe the transformers landed in a GM car lot.

Each of those full size set models in robotic form would probably get $100K on eBay

Travis has the role of a military guy. He has a big role in this movie and probably the best.
