This opinion does not consider the millions of families left completely homeless by the mortgage crash. How are we suppose to deal with the exponential growth of poverty related crime that will eventually occur? What about the mortality rate of rich home owners that will have to sacrifice their lives to the angry mobs of squatters that will eventually take over their vast estates? What will happen when all the banker home owners end up getting bombed to death by the hundreds of thousands of out of work PhD.'s?
I am actually looking at buying a house and the $ goes much further if you buy hud homes/foreclosures. I hate to gain from someones loss, but again, I need a house. Obviously the number of forclosures is crazy. What is REALLY crazy is the number of tax liens, bankruptcy's and preforclosures that are around (I live in Ohio, one of the states hit WORST buy foreclosures). I signed up for a site that shows me this info, absolutly SICKENING....... but again, I need a houseAt least when I buy a house it will be fixed and kept up increasing neighbors property value instead of 10 houses on one block being vacant, over grown, s**tholes. 10 on a block is NOT uncommon here in ohio. Some are even next door to each other.

Definitely leave charity to charity and keep government's big wasteful paws out of it. Every HUD project in my city is a big crap hole anyway.
