Even many Republicans are now admitting that Bush has the "Anti-Midas" touch--everything he has been involved in has been a disaster. Whether it was a "more humble foreign policy", a "permanent Republican majority", "American exceptionalism", FEMA, and now the American economy, he has demonstrated total incompetence and lack of curiosity and awareness. If Republicans were truly patriotic, they would push for any direction that was different from the last 8 years, and that realistically is Obama.
If I am a traitor by saying that Bush has destroyed everything I once believed in, then be it! Bush and the Republicans have led us down a road to Fascism and failure!
Bush shows us all how folksy common sense and lack of curiousity reduce problems and crises to simplistic solutions. If ever there were a time in our history when we needed leadership and voters who understand complexity, it is now. The choice between Obama/Biden and McCain/Palin will show whether we voters understand that fact.
