discussions.apple.com — I noticed yesterday the iTunes store had become very slow, so I posted on Apple's support forums. Turns out other people are having this problem too, and they are all Time Warner Cable Customers in Texas.

Great, I hope this is not comcast all over again. Here in Texas we'd have to use horses to send the data packets.

I also saw the discussion on the apple forum, after I started having trouble with itunes also. Could not even preview songs, and forcing prebuffer just timed out. I am also a Time Warner customer in Texas. Been checking it all day. I finally called Time Warner about 15 minutes ago, was told no one else had reported it. Said it was itunes problem. Put on hold for a few minutes, during which itunes started working. I dunno but hmmmmmmm. I asked the guy the make a note.

There were MANY more people that had this issue than the link to the forum page may lead you to believe. I know my message was removed nearly instantly despite the fact that all I said in the message was that I too was experiencing the exact same issue near Austin.

I am having the exact same problem with Netflix's on-demand streaming service. I am a time-warner user in Cleveland, OH
