Meh, Israel is widely regarded as having thermonuclear weapons (H-bombs, fusion bombs, bombs that make Hiroshima look like an M-80).Israel has not signed the nuclear non-proliferation treaty; one of only three countries to do so.But I guess this is OK, because they only plan on wiping brown people off the face of the planet.
Another stupid comment in your long history of stupid comments. The problem with Venezuela and Iran having nuclear material is they can't be TRUSTED with said material. Both of those countries have a long history of instability, a complete disregard for human rights, and a blatant carelessness for who they sell give munitions to. The difference between power plant grade and weapons grade is only the degree the material is enriched. Hell, even with poorly refined uranium you can make a dirty bomb that would cause just as much damage as a low-yield nuclear warhead (a dirty bomb detonated at high altitude leaves a massive dispersal area).I wouldn't trust either of those countries with a potato gun, let alone nuclear material. Maybe when they're have a little stability and stop the rhetoric people would trust them and it wouldn't be a big deal. I don't see that happening any time soon.
Israel also has never used it's nuclear arsenal. It is a deterant. It is the only thing a madman like Ahmadinejad Might understand...that understanding is beyond totally ignorant fools though, as you so clearly illustrate.
danielttt:The Soviet Union (and Russia), the UK, France, China, India, Pakistan and North Korea have also never used their nuclear arsenals. They are deterrents. Doesn't mean it's right.
In fact Iran has been completely open to inspections. The population is being kept in a constant state of fear to justify endless war and empire expansion. The US wants Iran and Venezuela to use the dollar not euro in oil trading. It also wants a monopoly control on nuclear technology so it can be sold to the rest of the world at a profit. This can only done if these countries are denied advancement and kept in the stone age.BTW, neocons came from the left so using "I'm a democrat" to distance yourself from them doesn't work.
Hmm, Venezuela does have a very large oil reserve. And they are an easily accessible coastal country whose oil fields are located on the coast or in large swaths of open plains, but on the negative side they also have a lot of hilly jungle terrain. To invade or not to invade?

Venezuela didn't invade two countries that never attacked it just in this decade. The US did.
