He was born Eldrick Woods and nicknamed Tiger by his father. The nickname came from one of his father's Army buddies. Tiger officially changed his name to "Tiger" when he became an adult.
that is what I was referring to. First a shot into the bunker, then another into the spectators. It was just a bad hole, something anyone could do on any day. It just so happened that he wasn't on top of his game that hole.
Tiger has been a pro for 12 years where Jack was a pro for 54 (25 in the PGA), so I agree with you, he will definitely get there. And when was Jack ever even considered the best sportsperson? I think the fact the world even considers Tiger the best sportsperson in the world is a MAJOR accomplishment.

This was the best championship I have ever witnessed. I thought for sure there was going to be another round, but Tiger scooped it up at the end!
