freeridevideo.com— Tiger Direct has falsely advertised products and charged more to get extra sales. No price match and unwilling to fix the error on their website. Having trouble competing with newegg?

I reported the page to them and they have removed their error. The TD reply to my report:Thanks for the heads up! We erred in our description and have corrected the copy.
Widow down the street asked me to build her a kick-ass PC on a Monday afternoon last summer. She wanted it so that her grand children could surf the web when they come over. Easy enough, I ordered almost everything from Newegg...except the case. I ordered a case from TD and after I completed the sale online I get this POS sob story from the Pres of TD about how they've upgraded their shipping system in their wharehouses and were having problems with getting orders out the door. Seeing as how this wasn't my machine it was no skin off my back to wait EXCEPT for the fact that the lady wanted it before the weekend. So, I called TD and was told that it would be another week before I could expect to get confirmation of it shipping. Nice. Well, guess how long it took...really, guess! 3 WEEKS from the time I ordered it to the time I got the notification. One entire month to get it delivered and then, to top it off, they still charged me for overnight shipping. I have but one thing to say about my experience with TD: NEVER again. Newegg has my business now. One fine day in the future, TD will finally go out of business

I'm a computer reseller and I bought stuff from both Newegg and TigerDirect. But now, I always buy from Newegg because Newegg has better price, service and best of all I got all my rebates. I ended up lost money from the noob - TigerDirect.

I truly doubt this is a mistake. I believe this is a calculated business strategy like the author conveys. I too am a victim of Tiger Direct.

I won't be suckered again either, and I'm telling all my friends to "stay away from Tiger Direct".
