usatoday.com — If you want great tickets you no longer have to battle with overpriced brokers or scalpers. "Ticketmaster is fighting back against online ticket resellers by letting customers bid up the prices for the best seats and returning profits to promoters and artists." What's to prevent scalpers and brokers from artificially bidding up these auctions now?

Great now I can even pay more to ticketmaster. Are they going to have a you bid fee also now?

This is unbelievable, just when I thought Ticketmaster couldn't be any more crappy of a company, they go ahead and do this? It's bad enough to pay a 50% mark-up in fees, have horrible customer service, and invest nothing into their infrastructure to improve the ticket-buying process - but now they have the audacity to take away anyone's ability to get great seats without shelling out serious dough. Gone are the days of waiting in line, showing up for a lottery or lucking out on a ticket sale – with Ticketcrapster laughing all the way to the bank.
