pvrwire.com — As much as I love my TiVo, I still have a few suggestions for the service that would make it all the more enjoyable in my eyes. Will you agree with them all? Nope. Are some of the suggestions a little crazy? Of course. If anything, the ideas will foster some conversation on ways to improve what most people already feel is a perfect product.

Perhaps you missed this part...."Have a TV tuner in your PC? Do Media Center, MythTV, BeyondTV, and the handful of other readily available PVR software solutions make you want to punch a hole through your monitor? "

And I'm surprised you didn't read all the comments before you said that!(In case you missed it, several people mentioned the 30 second skip before you made your post.)

I have an EVEN BETTER idea than the lameass renaming of shows. How about passworded USER SHOWS!You can have shows that ONLY YOU can see, otherwise they do not show on the main list! Then you do not have to guess if that is really a football game, or something to watch when the wife says, "Not Tonight". Each user would have a password that would allow them to have private shows, then there would be the default PUBLIC list.

Allow me to apologize and rephrase that to:Not everybody has Tivo and I don't know if the Diggers accumulate into large enough amounts as 'Owners of Tivo' in order for this topic to stand up well on the front page. However, dispite my comment and ignorance; this topic manages to stand strong. I wish tivo users the best of luck with the information of which they are given throughout this topic.Maybe I, one day, will consider purchasing a tivo device.

I watch very little TV and was skeptical about TIVO. But, let me tell you, it really DOES change the way you watch TV. It's great in that anytime I actually have time to watch TV, something good is always on. If you don't have TIVO - get it. Now.

Am I the only one who likes the skip button the way it is now? The 3X fast forward works fine to get me through the commercials, and I'd hate to lose the ability to jump to the beginning, end and 15/30 minute markers.
