There's no point in bringing up the inaccuracies in his argument. People who believe in Darwinian evolution are not going to be open to listening to you set the facts straight. They'll try to counter it with some quasi-scientific study (sponsored in part by some pseudo-philosopher that thinks he is a scientist). If people want to believe that a lower life forms evolved into higher life forms, or that irreducibly complex elements of a life form could arise by gene mutation - let them. Arguing with them only seems to make them think that we're out to persecute them or that we're stupid ignoramuses out to spout some scientific sounding things or some nonsense like that.Comment is buried, click here to see the rest.
What the video tried to explain that the reason why creationism is not accepted in the science field is that it doesnt have any sort of evidence. Evolution, however, has been tested and it has enough proof to have stood the test of time. In this case its evolution because it is the best theory we have as to date. If tomorrow we find that aliens came and raped fish in order to create humans, and you have enough evidence; maybe in a hundred of years it could become a theory, just like Evolution. Evolution is not trying to prove anything, it is just trying to explain what has happened in the past 4 billion years of earth's history.
Do you want to get to the point where your state board of education is lead by a creationist that publicly denounces evolution and buys ID based biology books with your taxpayer money?, like is happening in Texass.
The macro evolution argument in my mind would be one of method and outside force. We can assume selective breeding or we can assume other methods. I assume other methods.I could show you macro evolution in one day. How people selectively breed plants and animals is nothing new. That behaviour pre dates humans and I'd even argue animals.Science has found insects who become different species quite quickly as in a day. Once the plan is instituted the target unable to breed with targeted insects. In affect a breeding barrier is instant. Even virgin births if a female can't find a targeted male.Any other examples of macro evolution?
Somebody should have mentioned to Kirk that God designed the banana to fit perfectly up his backside, and that he should fulfill the will of God by inserting it there and shutting the f**k up.

Can you use scientific method to prove there is a higher being? And can it be replicated?
