@stubearI'll bet real money you've never used Garageband then.I, too, have used Cool Edit and Acid. Cool Edit: yeah I remember being able to use softsynths in Cool Edit. Oh wait no I dont because I couldn't.Acid: I hear good things about it but it's wonky and I have to configure it every time. With Garageband I just start the app and start recording from synth or live instrument in realtime nothing to configure, resize or otherwise fool with before I get to create.I think I got off the windows train before Audition made any kind of noise so you may have me there.
TinFoil209, you clearly don't know what a MIDI sequencer is. I didn't really bother to read the rest, since from your very first paragraph you displayed vast amounts of ignorance.
I like the sarcastic "haven't had driver problems" comment on the site.Uh-huh. Only people who have never used Windows would buy that line. I just watched the IS guys at my workplace deal with a massive driver headache last week. It's still a problem, even on XP.
@dopey:Apple fights OSX86 project contributors just like Microsoft fights those people who haven't paid for windows (except much less intrusively.) And if WMP tries to support all players, why can't I use it on my Mac? :P

@ilyagYou ARE a silly one!Yes, I use Garageband for putting down quick music ideas. Then, I load the same Garageband sessions into Logic Pro 7.2.1 (Heard of it?) to produce full-blown pro recording sessions for major labels. Logic Pro 7 OWNS Cubase & FruityLoops!Plus, there's Digital Performer from www.motu.com. MoTU was making MIDI sequencers for Macs back in 1986. Digital Performer is the premier MIDI sequencer. They schooled EVERYONE from Opcode to Pro Tools.Glad to see the Windows crowd finally starting to get into this pro music game. Who knows? Maybe Dell will start winning Grammys, Oscars and various TEC awards like Apple.....Yeah, right!
