redgreenandblue.org — On Monday night, three journalists from the Kentucky Kernel were arrested while documenting the protests outside the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota. Nothing indicates that any of the three were actually participating in the protests, much less violating any laws that would warrant their arrest.

Begin with the assumption the reporters are innocent then conclude the same. The reporters were probably interfering and got locked up for it.

Don't go to a large protest if you don't want to be arrested. The police have a tough job keeping order when some of these riots are going on, so they have to adopt a blanket arrest everyone policy.

Yeah, the guy with the camera, getting hit with pepper spray looks *really* dangerous. /sWhy was he arrested again? Because it certainly doesn't look like he was rioting in that picture - it looks like he's trying to cover news.

Yep, unfortunately, a lot of people do not understand agent provocateurs. Masks should *never* be allowed at protests - usually it's the ones wearing masks that stir up the violence because they aren't there to protest - they are there to disturb the peace, disrupt the protest and cause everyone to go to jail. Usually, they are members of whatever the group is trying to protest and are paid to incite a riot with the express intention of destroying the protest in the first place.Good point.
