valleywag.com — A new voting feature, currently being tested by Facebook employees, lets you vote items in your news feed up or down. Right now, it's being used to make your news feed items more relevant -- but the same data could be used to make a Digg clone. And Facebook has 50 million active users.

How do facebook news feeds have anything to do with Digg? It's just random things posted from my friends' activities. It's facebook apps like Hot On the Web http://apps.facebook.com/hotontheweb/, where friends post to friends and it all gets shared, that's really the Digg (or reddit, stumbleupon, de.licio.us) equivalent on facebook. The facebook news feeds by themselves have no content compared to Digg!
