wafb.com — Thousands of people crowded Fountain Square Sunday afternoon to protest the Obama administration's stimulus package and budget. The event, promoted largely through the Internet and talk radio, may have been the largest political protest in Cincinnati since the Vietnam era.

Didn't say that either, I said these people holding up their racist, inaccurate, or just plain silly signs have no clue what they're talking about, which is true.Right-winger putting words in someone's mouth. That's the ticket.

It seems you have no idea what you are talking about. Cutting taxes on employers and producers, is what kept the economy going. Obama has spent more than Bush ever did, and you seem to be OK with it. I guess holding up signs against America and burning flags at left-wing protests are no problem for you.

Just because a cross is "T" shaped doesn't mean burning one constitutes a "tea party."

Someone has a "USSA" sign and another has a sign comparing the leader of our country to Osama bin Laden, isn't that against America? How is that any different than when the right s**t a brick over Jeremiah Wright calling it AmeriKKKa? Again, you right-wingers keep putting words in my mouth by implying I don't think these people should be allowed to protest... they're perfectly allowed to do so, it's just embarrassing when they clearly don't know what they're talking about, they just don't like Obama. The fact that you're throwing out the tired, spin-heavy line of "Obama has spent more than Bush ever did!" shows that you're just as clueless. First off, we're talking about proposed spending vs. actual spending. Saying Obama has spent more than Bush did in eight years is like saying I bought more newspapers today than you ever did because I purchased a yearly subscription while you buy it on a daily basis. You can read all about that right here: http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements ...All I'm asking for is a reason why all these people who kept their mouths shut and their signs at home when Bush got us into a $4 trillion deficit are suddenly outraged that the president who inherited that mess is trying to fix it? What do you propose we do if we can't invest (keyword) money into the economy? Just let all these corporate giants fail and watch the economy go from bad to Armageddon? Let our infrastructure continue to fall apart? Do we try to balance the budget? Ask Herbert Hoover how that turned out. Cut taxes across the board like Bush and give the middle class a $300 check to "stimulate" the economy, when all that'll do is keep their lights on for another month? Solve the economic crisis for me.
