naturalhistorymag.com — Really, the little critter is call the "Star Nosed Mole" and it has twenty-two touch-sensitive appendages ringing its snout. It really does look like something out of a Sci-Fi movie. If anyone can top this oddity with any living land animal, be my guest.

What? Did you just say "french tickler for the naughty boys"? The way the guy describes the thing he is clearly smitten...a smitten kitten he is...using terms such as "exquisite" ..it all just has a twang of homo erotica to it...AND you feel sorry for the poor little thing because it has it's junk all on the outside like that must be very sensitive...ok I'm done ...next topic PLEASE

I actually saw once a movie, where they showed how this creature 'sees' with these "hands" on its face (if there is such). It was quite impressive, because it uses them very quickly and they actually form a picture of the world. The only 'but' is that they have to touch the object to see it... that sucks!
