shopatron.com — Add a colorful light stream to any faucet! Temperature Controlled Faucet Light changes color based upon the water temperature. It’s “blue” when the water is cold or simply turned “on.” When the temperature reaches 89˚ F, it changes to “red,” alerting you that the water is getting “hot”!

@effektz Nice link. Most of those are far cooler.

This is cool, but would be a lot cooler if the light color changed gradually with the temperature instead of switching from blue to red at a certain temperature.Oh well. Still neat.

Pretty neat. Does it gradually change colors or toggle between the two? The description doesn't really clarify it either way. The former would be much cooler.

I got one of these, it really is awesome, works well, hasn't needed new batteries yet.PROS:really cool, esp. at nightpeople are always saying "WTF, why is your water glowing"actually useful, when judging water temperatureim not sure if mine is broken, but at around 90degF it has red AND blue on at the same time, making a really cool purpleCONS:bulky and longishplastic, so it doesnt stay shiny, gets water spotswater sometimes stays up in it because of a vacuum, leaving the LED on.overall, its friggan $20 and takes no tools to install. totally worth it if you are and LED dork like myself. (i also have oggz)

This was featured on the front page a while ago, and so seeing the amazing looking picture on the site I went out and bought one. Let me tell you its nothing like that picture, its basically a cheap plastic attachement that is no where as nice looking, and bright as it is in that pic. Moral of the story don't be fooled by online pictures.
