In reality, the mom should have let the kid spend, spend, spend. A contract which is entered before you are 18, in most states, is invalid. There is nothing the bank could have done. The parents never co-signed. The bank messed up, and they should pay. The banks want us to get in so much debt that we can't repay. It is about time that they actually start looking into who they are giving credit to.http://www.contractedge.com/contractslaw.html
