Its been my experience that designers have been taught for so long now to Think Outside The Box that when it come time for thinking *inside* the box (constraints of materials, time, resources - even virtual ones) - they ... can't do it.I respect people who can come up with solutions under constraints - thinking inside the box - more than those that can come up with solutions ONLY when they let their imaginations run off the deep end.
