I figured that, but that said I couldn't get it to go any further than it just sitting at the boot screen (the one with the grey apple and the spinny bit, but with out the spinny bit)
I've set up WebDAV on my Mac so I can share iCal calendars over my network. We've got three macs all pulling the same calendars now. For a family or office, this is very convenient. However, as things stand now only one computer can edit the calendar. This means that when my daughter gets a new gig she can't just update the shared calendar from her mac. She's got to tell me to do it which she usually never does. iCal3 would allow her to be given permission to change the calendar on the network making my job so much easier while making the calendar more interactive for subscribers.I'm pretty excited about getting that added functionality. That's one of the features that has me more than willing to shell out $129 when the time comes.
That sounds about right. Printer drivers in OS X 10.4 take up about 1.5GB. Apple includes printer drivers for so many mainstream models it's silly. At 2GB it appears that they are adding even more. That's how things can work out of the box. ;) When running low on space the excess printer drivers are always first to go for me.
