sick of hearing about the iphone and the fact the average person to afford an iphone is typicaly male, 31 years of age with a $75,000 income. at $600.00 a piece poor white trash like me won't even see an iphone for years. kudos to the previous fellow that mentioned previously how phones in japan are so much more advanced than anything we have here in the US.

@EthergnatYes - The Q. The original shipping version of the firmware allowed paring to a laptop for use as a bluetooth modem. The next version crippled this feature, and required a $15 per month "tethering fee" to enable it again.

Bluetooth tethering isn't part of the the UI, though, is it? Reading comprehension FTW. Do any of the mobile providers allow bluetooth tethering without an additional fee? I know it's possible on some phones, but it's still against the terms of service. I'd be utterly shocked if it's allowed with the iPhone, although it'd be kind of pointless without 3G.

If I knew a mainstream browser would always block all ads on my page, and that page was my main source of revenue, I'd block that browser from my page. I'm sure most webmasters would do the same.
