The policy at my school is pretty strict - absolutely no photos or video are allowed to be taken of the cadavers. The anatomy teacher even said they would be grounds for dismissal. At first I thought it was unreasonable, but like the person in the article says, every cadaver belongs to a family - how would they feel if they saw their relative in all sorts of dissected states, on the internet? We did some pretty heinous procedures to those cadavers... but I'll be forever grateful because we learned a lot.
Anyone that has gone through gross anatomy will know that some degree of joking has to be present to get over the fact you are cutting up a DEAD HUMAN!!!!
Whilst having no relevance to the article. I have buried this as I had a pop-up advert from the site asking if I want to check my credit score. This form of advertising is despicable and intrusive.
