I just LOVE all of the PS3 fanboys here, that if someone says some good FACTS or opinions about the 360, they have - diggs. If someone says something good about PS3, it has +85 diggs.Face it, 360 > PS3.Go ahead, bury me.
I just bought a 40gb PS3 after much deliberation. I have a Wii, which gets some use, but really wanted to play BioShock. Additionally, I really wanted a great racing game. This posed a problem since Gran Turismo is the most well-known racer and BioShock wasn't on the PS3. Seeing a demo of Forza 2 in the store and hearing all the cars sound near identical was a huge turn-off. Add in the 33% failure rate -- higher than our President's approval rating -- and the scratched discs, having to pay $50/year for online gaming, and me not having anything Microsoft in the house... and now we have a dust-magnet PS3. We played Gran Turismo 5 Prologue last night and were blown away by the level of detail. My fiance really wants to get the Audi R8 now (IRL and in-game). Maybe if it wasn't a Microsoft product, or if they didn't nickel and dime you ($95 for wireless? $50 for online play? $180 for 120GB of storage that'll be filled with things I buy from them?), or if BioShock wasn't coming to the PS3 later this year, maybe then we'd have a 360. Not that Sony doesn't nickel and dime -- why is a supposed HD console with a high-definition movie player missing, at the very minimum, component cables? I really hope that Sony's PSN can live up to the standard set by XBL. That's my only concern, really.

Check out http://playstation3price.com/PS3Price.php for better prices and backwards compatable systems. You will not regret it and you could save yourself money too.

"A bit pricey though..." Your kidding? Buy a refurb system if it doesn't fit your wallet. http://www.Playstation3Price.com .I feel like a more important point would be how the blu ray disc drives break and can not read discs or the fact that a power supply can die fairly easy. If you are guy in this situation you may consider checking out our other business http://www.BrokenPlaystation.com
