dailymail.co.uk — There is another Mrs McCain who casts a ghostly shadow over the Senator’s presidential campaign. She is seldom seen and rarely written about, despite being mother to McCain’s three eldest children. She is McCain’s first wife, Carol.

So, John McCain abandons the military wife, which isn't an easy job to begin with, who stuck by him during his captivity and absence. Then, when he comes home, looks at how an accident disfigures her, makes the choice to emotionally abandon her to chase bimbos, despite her loyalty to him. Carol McCain's statement that "...he wanted to be 25 [years old again]", reveals his self-absorbed narcissism and callousness. She knew she had her own survival to look after, in light of his infidelities, and got most of what she needed materially in a divorce. His ambitions and arrested development allowed him to choose a wealthy, politically connected trophy wife and manipulate his new father-in-law for advancement. His famous temper, nothing more than tantrum-throwing, only verifies his immaturity and entitlement. This personality isn't suited for national leadership or the international stage. It has "Bush Third Term" written all over it. Please, America, don't do it again.

Not to discredit his was "heroism", but he didn't have a choice, he was just doing his job. That makes him a survivor and we give survivors "hero awards". The other only other option was suicide. Don't get me wrong, Ihave a VERY high regard for the military, but character is who you are when the spot light is off, and now that has come to light. It's kind of like if you were a respected athlete and then you "lost it" and killed your wife or had her killed (and I am not saying that's ever happened - wink) you sort of lose all of the respect that you once had from the public. I know you can't compare those who fought in Vietnam to football players, but I am just trying to make a point.

News flash - professional politician found to be a shallow self seeking hypocrite, film at 11!But seriously, if you are looking for a candidate who won't hesitate to slaughter anyone who might be standing between him and a national policy objective, a.k.a. corporate profit objective, at any cost to "our guys", McCain's your man. For this reason, he has a lock on the pathological, "America, f**k yeah!" vote. As for the resta youse Republicans, wake up, your party is gone. All that's left is a united Fascist DemoPublican monster, hell bent on creating the biggest Big Government in history and controlling every aspect of your private life. Some people find this comforting...

Gee, I dunno - two homes, cars, alimony for life, child support, and automatic payment of all of her medical expenses - I think I'd take it and run! It's better deal than what I get at the VA when I have to go there,AND that was the thanks for serving my country and getting injured - but I still pay the gaps in the bills.Carol McCain - that was her thanks for marriage, the waiting, the fear, then the "I still care, but I need to go" , however I will still take care of you and make sure you get what you and the kids need..
