edition.cnn.com — There are few issues that preoccupy new parents more than this: Is my baby growing normally? When the percentiles seem off-kilter, we worry -- but experts say there's rarely reason for concern. For starters, healthy kids come in a wide range of shapes and sizes, and they don't grow at a steady rate, either.

The day you learn to stop arguing for the sake of argument, come back and we can finish this conversation. Or after you become a parent, whichever comes first.

You said that the article was nothing but "a very scientific, statistically packed story. It wasn't about what parents wanted", then you went on to say "A parent with a short child could read this article and learn his child wasn't growing fast enough (compared to the average), go to a specialist, and learn that his child has a nutrition problem, or some odd disorder. When it comes to semi-correctable problems like growth and getting special education early, I don't think that your suggestion of _only_ making sure your children grow up to be good people is the best advice to follow."You said you weren't arguing with me and now you're saying that you thought I was a valiant opponent.and finally the last straw "By the way, all eight of my cousins have Down's Syndrome and I have a one-legged dog. But at least I'm 6'3"..." this is obviously a lie, and an implication that I made it all up.What are the odd we're ever going to personally meet? or that I'll meet anyone here? Have you thought that this IS what makes me feel better? To vent on the Internet? Only two people outside my family know about all I put in here, because it's private to me, why do you think I went the extra mile to prove that my story is real? I have many demons that need to be taken care of, as all that happened only happened less than 2 years ago, but I am dealing with them the best I can. Why in the hell you took all this personally, is beyond me. And you DID take it personally, or else, you would've read my first comment and moved along, but you decided to make a futile comment, that wasn't even relevant to my comment or the article.Call me a wack-job, but if s**t ever hits your fan the way it hit mine (God forbid it does, and I'm honest to God iphope it doesn't), I hope you're as strong as you claim to be. You're still young, and s**t will happen, remember that the world sometimes doesn't revolve the way you think it does.

To the person digging this guy down, am I really being stupid about this whole thing? If you don't want to respond, please just digg this one comment up and I'll know that I'm not being stupid. Or digg it down, if I am.Thank you.
