... um. It's not as crazy as I'm guessing you think it is.You (the customer) strip down and lay down on a table, face down, then the provider uses one of those removable shower heads to cover you in water, then soaps up a sponge and rubs you with it, then you flip over and she rubs your front side.In legitimate parlors, they will often put a hand towel over your junk so as to avoid any incidental contact. In less legitimate parlors, they might actually wash your junk. In spite of the apparent sexual nature of this act, it generally fails to be arousing because, well, she's just washing your body and that IS part of your body... no reason to get any ideas.
sex and drugs are very taboo in america...they like to act one way in public but all quiet about it otherwiseremember janet jackson's tit/nipple on the superbowl...
Sigh. So long as these places aren't practicing human trafficking, they're not hurting anyone. Prostitution is one of those things that will never go away. Somehow its okay if a person only has sex after being given jewelery or expensive dinners, but directly providing cash is immoral. Its okay to sell your time as a service if you're a physician, lawyer, or IT individual (Who hasn't at least heard about fellow geeks in college fixing a girl's computer in return for a little "service"), but if that service involves sex, its illegal in much of the country. Now the funny thing is, much like all those "Escorts" and "Erotic Service" on Craigslist, these parlors wouldn't be able to operate if they just said "OMG SEX HERE", but rather say "You're paying for my time/the massage, anything else that happens is between two consenting adults". Legally, it doesn't seem like anyone has any leg to stand on shutting them down unless the manager has a giant "Blowjob = $$$$$" sign in the waiting room, don't you think? Also, what's with shutting down an entire store in the event that a single girl is found to be selling herself? Shouldn't it be the responsibility of the management to fire her instead? If I work at an investment bank and someone is caught laundering money from the sale of blood diamonds, unless they can prove it was under the direct orders of the bank, the bank stays and the individual is punished. These places are only busted when they don't pay their protection money, refuse to give cops "service", or some politician trots out the "protect the children" card. If you want to cut down on disease and human trafficking, then lets just legalize prostitution, tax and regulate, requiring periodic health inspections like the rest of the civilized world.
Sex is ruining this country! We've got to stop it now before it spreads STD's into the very fabric of our great nation! Abstinence is the only policy! Kill the non-believer!
"Now introducing the THAI BUTTERFLY massage!(A special treat for our best behaving clients!)"I get the feeling that they will measure behaviour by the amount of money you pay them and whether or not that amount is how much they charge for sex.
It's harming the women, actually. So many of them are prisoners. They come to "wherever" with the promise of a legitimate good job and get stuck in some form of slavery/prostitution. The people who bring them confiscate their passports and threaten their families back home (assuming their family didn't actually SELL them into prostituion).I'm sure there are cases of perfectly legit massage parlours run by totally emancipated women, but pretty much...no. It's one of the dirtiest secrets of human slavery that no one wants to talk about because they don't want to lose the fantasy.
I would support legalising polygamy actually. Smacksaw, the slavery and mistreatment you describe is already illegal. There is no need to make prostitution illegal to combat that. If however prostitution was legal and monitored. Say you need a license and be registered. Wouldn't be easier to monitor that situation and protect those women?Keeping it illegal and away from regulation lets the problems you describe happen.
