I usually think Bang & Olufsen design is pretty intriguing and sometimes beautiful (although many times at the expense of functionality, not to mention waaaaay overpriced). But the circular designs of the controls of some of their audio systems just doesn't translate to the keypad of a cellphone, especially since everyone is used to the standard design. Can you imagine a circular version of a QWERTY keyboard, with the keys arranged in concentric circles? Now that would be wild...but useless.
@imacyco: Because Americans are still creating enough demand for the SOS. When Americans start having some restraint, and choose NOT to buy something that isn't worth buying, we'll start to see some new stuff.Don't mod me down if you think I'm anti-America. I'm an American myself. I just want newer stuff like imacyco does!
The RAZR's are/were the most amazing phones when they first came out. If this list was made 3 years ago, the list would be 1-10 RAZR. 3 years ago when no one could afford the RAZR it was the hottest thing out. It is the classic syndrome of the more obscure the more cool. The RAZR is the iMac of cellphones, it essentially spawned the whole designer phone revolution. I know their were cool phones around before, but they had not been feasible for major manufacturers because they weren't selling. The RAZR convinced the other companies to invest in design.
